Studio Museum in Harlem

Transformative design for Studio Museum in Harlem developed a new street identity for this local institution and broadened their audience. The museum’s facilities were enhanced with new permanent-collection galleries, an auditorium, a cafe, museum shop and support spaces. The once-empty lot adjoining the museum has become a popular multi-use space where museum supporters and the neighborhood residents gather for events.
